saddle cleaning
To clean the leather you should get a fine cotton cloth, distilled water and saddle soap.
Use a damp cloth to remove dust and light dirt from the leather.
Why distilled water? Depending on the region, normal tap water contains more or less lime and different minerals. Both lime and minerals can under certain circumstances highlight stains or color changes in the leather.
Saddle soap should only be used sparingly. Either to remove stubborn dirt from the leather or to remove sweat residue from the horse and/or rider. After cleaning, however, care is very important
